More Tatty Ted

Good Morning

Today I would like to share with you a couple of cards which I have made up using Tatty Ted Decoupage. These are from the decoupage which I cut out and made up in the autumn!

The first card is made from a 7x5" card blank. The backing paper is from Lili of the Valley Bonnets and Bowties paper pad. The decoupage is then matted onto a Marianne Dies, which had been die cut in Silver Mirri card.

This second card is also a 7x5" card, can you see a theme with the sizes? The backing papers are from Lili of the Valley Promises paper pad. Again the frame is die cut from Silver Mirri card using the Marriane Oval Dies.

I hope you like the cards I have shown you today.

Good Morning

Good morning,

I hope the snow is not too bad where you are. Stay in and craft seems like to order of the day.

Today I would like to share with you two cards I have made using some Forever Friends die cut decoupage.
Both cards are made from a 7x5" card blank.

The first one is ideal for a female birthday or even Mothers Day.

This first one was matted onto Pink cardstock which had been die cut using the Marriane Ovals die. Before I took the die cut out of the die, I inked through it with Distress Ink in Fired Brick first. I the matted the decoupages image onto the die cut and then onto spotty paper which I inked the edged with the fired brick as with the edge of the cardstock.

This second card is more for the Man in your life.

Again this is a 7x5" card blank. The stripy paper was from my stash. This time is used Blue Bazzill cardstock in the Marianne Die. This was cut with my Big Shot. I decided not to ink threough the die on this one as the embossing was very deep, however it doesn't show up very well on a photo :(

Ooops where did that week go!

Hello there

Today I would like to share with you a couple of cards I made up yesterday. They are using Tatty Ted Decoupage. I made the decoupage toppers up in the autumn, but then they got hidden under the Christmas stuff.

This first card is an A5 card blank. The papers are so old I forget who they are made by, Oops. Tatty Ted was die cut and decoupaged, this was matted onto Pink Bazzil card which had been die cut using scalloped Oval nesties. The flourish in the top left corner is one of the new D-lite nesties, Fantastic Flourish 2.

The second card was also an A5 card blank, backing paper from the same sheet as before. The flourish in the top right hand corner was again pink Bazzill and was D-lite Fantastic Flourish 3.

Another Birthday Card

Hello there

Hope you are all keeping warm in this cold weather. I have stayed in and crafted to keep warm.
Today I would like to show you a 10th Birthday card.
This is a 7x5" card.

The papers are from Lili of the Valley/Nitwits Promises paper pad
The Die cut is from the Cuddly Teddy die cut sheet, it has then been die cut using the Marvelous Squares nestabilites. The purple spotted paper was then die cut with the larger nestie, through my big shot.
The frame at the bottom was die cut using spellbinders d-lites Frame-1
A peel of sentiment and job done.

I would like to enter this into this weeks Lili of the Valley Challenge of using 2 patterned papers.

1st Birthday Card

Hello there

Today I would like to share with you a card I have made for my niece's little boy who will be one at the end of the month. (I think that makes him my great-nephew??)

This is an 8x8" card. I have used papers from NitWit's Bonnets & Bowties collection.
The image is a Lili of the Valley Die cut from the Cuddly Teddies sheet.
The purple bazzill card behind the image was die cut with Spellbinders Marvelous Squares on my Big Shot.
The '1 Today' and Leighton's name were cut out on my Silhoutte electronic cutter.

I would like to enter this card into this weeks Lili of the Valley challenge, Use two backing papers.

Woo Another post from me.

Good Morning

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for a good friends birthday.

The card was made using a 7x5" card blank. The papers are Lili of the Valley NitWit papers from the Bonnets and Bowties collection.
The image is 'All Wrapped Up' by Lili of the Valley, this was coloured in using my Promarkers. It was then die cut using a Marianne Die and gently inked using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid.

I really enjoyed useing these colours for a winter birthday, although if I looked outside i should have done it in black and greys :) Roll on Summer.

Happy New Year !

Happy New Year To all

Hope you all had a good Christmas and are all settled in the new year.

I am hoping to get back into this blogging lark at least 2/3 times a week :)

Today I would like to share with you a card i made for my son's birthday back at the end of November.

How come, even though I know when his birthday was, it kinda crept up on me and I ended up making this at 10pm the night before ???
I was made from a 6x6 square card. The image is a Lili of the Valley Die cut which was matted onto the same colour card as the card blank. All the corners were punched with my 'lips' punch (some people say 'arse' punch!). The green shimmer card was also treated with this punch as was the sentiment.

I hope you like this card and it does go to show that sometimes I guess less really is more :)
