Something a bit different

Good Morning

Today I would like to show you something a bit different from me.

This is a Slate heart which I bought with the intention of doing 'something' with it.
As I am trying to be better at looking after myself and eating better I decided to make this and have it hanging in my Kitchen to remind myself how well I am doing.

The slate heart is approc 20cm high.
It came with some twine to hang it, I have replaced this with 'measuring tape' ribbon.
The flowers are a mixture of Hobby House and Prima flowers.
The wording was cut on my Silhouette Cameo.
A few gems in the centre of some of the flowers.
A heart stick pin and a pearl one finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate all comments you may have on my creations.

Hello There

Good Morning

Today I would like to share with you another couple of Hobby House topper cards. They have both been made using the extra backing papers from the Little Treasures kit.

This first card is a 6x6" white card blank.
I have used Chocolate Brown Bazzill Bling card for matting and layering.
Some brown velvet ribbon.
A bow and some resin flowers from Hobby House.
The mat for the topper was cut using the PixScan mat for the Cameo.

This second card was also made using the 'leftovers' from the kit.
Again I have used Brown Bazzill Bling for matting and layering.
The flowers were from my stash (Wild Orchid).
The leaves were die cut with a Joy crafts die.
Again the topper mat was cut on the Silhouette Cameo.

I appreciate all comments you may have on my creations.

Oops where did that year go!

Good morning

Sorry it has been a while since I posted. Life has got in the way, and for a while I haven't done much crafting :(

In order to give my crafty mojo a reboot I have been using a Hobby House card making kit.
Both these cards were made using the Little Treasures Kit. The great thing about these kits is that you get way more backing papers and embellishments than you need. This has given my mojo the nudge it needed to get back into gear.
