Hanging Trio Frame

Hi there

Today I would like to share with you a hanging frame which I made during a workshop with the talented Julie from The Stamp Pad.

The hanging frame comes as bare wood. This was painted with Acrylic Paint, I used pink paint and highlighted with purple paint. I then used the Indigo Blu wild meadow stamp set to decorate the frame.
In the top frame I dangled a birdie charm using purple fibres. The back of the frame was covered with crinkly pink paper.

In the middle frame I stamped a butterfly in purple ink. I then over stamped gently around the edges of the backing card. I then went over the butterfly with glossy accents to give it the 'enammelled' look.

In the bottom frame I scrunched up pink paper, laid it flat and then gently rubbed the purple ink pad over it. Just enough for the ink to pick up the highlights. Then in the top corner I glued some pink glass glitters. I then cut a adhesive gem circle in half to stick in the bottom left corner.
Using the stamp set, I stamped out some images onto white card then cut them out to adhere to the frame.
I then dangled another birdcage charm from the bottom frame.

I hope you like this project from me. Way out of my comfort zone, being able to use pink and purple. With having 2 boys a lot of my makes are more masculine in colours.

As always I appreciate any comments about my projects.
