Hello

Today I would like to share with you a photo frame with a difference which I made on the Craft Retreat run by The Stamp Pad. The photo frame is by Kaisercraft and come in Kit form, all you need to do is paint it in your colours and add the papers.
I painted mine in a 'Pumpkin' acrylic paint and then edged with brown distress ink. I used the same brown ink to stamp flourishes on the base panel. The papers were from the new Basic Grey range called Piccadilly. The metal flower embellishments were also from the same range.I printed my photos out in Black and white, but they didn't look right so I changed the colour to sepia and, although a small change, this made a big difference. The bottom of the wooden panel was covered with Black velvet paper. This may seem a waste of gorgeous paper, but it has helped in NOT marking my furniture!

I hope you like this.

Thanks for stopping by,

Gill
