Hi There

Well another day closer to Christmas, how many cards have you made yet??

I have decided this year to do some smaller cards as well as my usual 7x5" and 5 or 6" square. I find these a little less daunting, especially when you have quite a few to make. And after all, small things come in small packages!

Both these cards are 4" square. The die cut shapes are by Mo Manning for the Hobby House. Althought the die cuts are on white card, this didn't look right on my card so, I inked it with Forest Moss distress ink and the matted it onto green cardstock which had been die cut with Nesties Labels 1. I then stamped a few snowflakes on the backing paper as well. A strip of green ribbon down the left hand side. Red card stock was punched with a Martha Stewart punch. A poinsetta and tow green punched pine branches.

This second card is again a 4" square card. This time the die cut was inked with Fired brick distress ink and stamped over with another snowflake stamp. The die cut behind the image is a Marianne die cut out in red card. A green ribbon over the join of the papers and some more Wild Orchid flowers and a red heart pin finish this card off.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them.
