Good Morning

Good Morning

Well today i was planning on sharing with you some of the gorgeousness which I had made over the weekend on my Crafty Retreat organised by Gwen at The Stamp Pad. Unfortunately the snow monsters conspired against us and covered the road with so much snow the retreat had to be called off :(

This is the view from one of the windows!

Hmmm anyone fancy eating outside ! If you look carefully you can see the table just in front of the window.

Yep, there is road under there somewhere!
The Retreat was due to finish at about 4pm yesterday, At the moment the Hotel is still snowed in with no way in or out. So everything has been postponed until later in the year. I guess it gives me something to look forward to :)

So today I would like to share with you a card I have made for my parents Wedding Anniversary. This stamp 'Close Your Eyes' is a fabby one which is great for anniversarys etc.

This is a 6x6" card blank.
The image is 'Close Your Eyes' by Lili of the Valley.
Coloured in with Promarkers.
The patterned Papers are from Country Lady Paper Pad from Lili of the Valley.
The image was die cut with Nesties Marvelous Squares.
As was the backing card.
The flowers are by Prima 'Got Flowers'.
Flourish die is by Memory Box.
Happy Anniversary Peel Off from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate all comments you may have on my creations.

A Birthday Boy!

Good Morning

Today I would like to share with you a card I have made for a birthday boy! I don't know about you but I find that the boys/men cards are harder to do. To try to overcome this I have bought some 'Boy' stamps from Lili of the Valley and have challenged myself to do at least one 'male' card a week !

Again I have used a 6x6" card blank cut from Blue Bazzill.
The image is Football Crazy from Lili of the Valley.
Again the Image was coloured with my Promarkers.
The image was die cut with Nesties Labels 26 (My fav at the moment!).
The papers are from the new paper pad Candles and Cake.
The ribbon was by Rico Designs from The Stamp Pad.
The little football and boot were buttons I found in my stash!

Birthday Card

Good morning

Ooops don't know what has happend this week, Where has it gone :)

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for a dear friends birthday which was on Tuesday. I wanted to make sure that she had got the card before posting it on here.

The card is made on a 5x7" card blank. The papers are from NitWit's Bonnets & Bowties pad. The image is 'Best Friends' by Lili of the Valley. The image was coloured in with Promarkers and then die cut with Nesties Labels 2, the backing was pink Bazill Bling cut with the same die.The image was then gently inked, whilst still in the die, with Tattered Rose distress ink. The flowers are Prima No5 flowers in Blue and Pink. The green flourish at the top is a Marianne Die Tiny Flowers 2. The flourishes at the bottom are die cut from the Vines die by Whimsy Stamps. These were all die cut with my Big Shot.
