Cutie Pie Challenge

Good Morning

Today I would like to share with you a card I have made for the Cutie Pie Challenge Blog.

The theme this month is Cute and using Buttons.

This is a 6x6" card blank.
The papers are from DoCrafts Wellington Paper paack.
All matted onto Navy blue Bazzill cardstock.
The topper is from The Hobby House.
Buttons from Do Crafts.
The die cut is by Little Darlings, Film Die.
The 'waste' from the die cut was trimmed to mat on top of the topper.

While I had the papers on my desk I also made this card.
Agan it is a 6x6" card blank.
Papers from the Wellington Paper Pack.
This time, instead of matting the papers, I edged them with a Brown Promarker.
Four little gems in the corners of the card and the topper.

I really enjoyed this challenge, and making the cards for little boys. Not my usual comfort zone :)

Thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate all comments you may have on my creations.

Cutie Pie Challenge

Hi there

Today I would like to share with you a card I have made for this weeks Cutie Pie Challenge. This weeks theme is Buttons and Bows. As with my recent makes, this is again using a Hobby House Topper. I am really enjoying the process of making up cards with these at the moment as I haven't got the time to be stamping and colouring in.

This is a 6x6" card blank.
Everything is matted onto Kraft brown cardstock.
The background papers is actually Hobby House card in Snowflake Flurry and Check.
Around the topper I have stamped a snowflake stamp in Festive Berries Distress Ink.
I think this just takes away the starkness of the white topper.
I have added a red organza bow.
There are three small red buttons in the bottom right hand corner,
and one large red button in the top left hand corner.

I would like to enter this into this weeks Cutie Pie Challenge.

I appreciate all comments you may have on my creations.

A card from me

Good Morning Bloggers

Again, I have been away for a while, sorry about that. Life has been hectic and then there was work! Anyway, things are on the up again. I start a new job next week, and I think this is going to be that strt of something wonderful.
I finished my old job on Tuesday so spent yesterday trying to find my mojo! I started off by using some Hobby House toppers and just making cards with them, then one thing led to another and before I knew it I had made some cards and a small 'Prom Book' ready for my friends Daughters prom!

So today I am going to showcase the last card I made yesterday.

I have used a 7x5" card blank.
The papers are some which I have had laying around for a while.
This is a Lili of the Valley Stamped image which has been coloured in with promarkers.
It was then die cut and then embossed and inked.
The flowers were die cut using a Marianne Die and then layered up.

I would like to enter this card into this weeks Cutie Pie Challenge,
and also this months challenge at Crafty Little Faries.

Autumn Colours

Good Morning

Well the mojo is back and working !

This card was made using a 6x6" scalloped card base.
The paper is from a BoBunny paper pad called Forever Fall.
The image is from a die cut topper sheet by Hobby House.
I rounded the corners from the topper and then matted it onto Kraft card.
The image, mat and papers were all inked round the edges with Distress Ink.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid,
Not sure if the bronze pearl sprays show up very well on the photo.
I love this image, she is so cute, and coloured better than I could!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges :-

Weekend Card

Good Morning

Today I would like to share with you a card I have recently made in readiness for my mums birthday at the end of April. I know I am never normally this organised :)

This is a 6x6" square card blank cut from Bazzill cardstock.
The backing paper of from Kaisercraft Forget Me Knot papers.
The image is Lili of the Valley.
Stamped and coloured with Promarkers.
This was then Die cut using Nesties Labels 11.
The paper under the image is from a First Edition Pad, Boho Chic.
The strip down the left hand side is made from the card, a strip of the backing paper
and a strip of the paper the same as used for the mat under the image.
The gems top left and bottom right are by Kanban.
The ribbon was from my stash (I think by Rico)

Ooops just noticed that I haven't stamped the Happy Birthday, better do that now.

I would like to enter this card into the Cutie Pie Challenge, Favourite Film
My fav film is Mamma Mia, so Mamma / Mum ?? or is this pushing it a bit smile.gif
