Lalliana Twinkle Toes

 Good morning,

Today I would like to share a card again made with Tracy Easson's Lallianna stamp.
For this I stamped the image in black ink and then coloured in with my Coloured pencils.

This is an 8x8" scalloped card blank.
The background paper was made using my gel plate and spray inks.
Both the square and Oval dies were from Creative Expressions Nobel collection.
The flowers were stamped in brown with a Heartfelt Creations stamp.
I then used the matching die to cut them out.
They have been shaped and inked in pink to match the card.
I then die cut some green foliage to go behind the flowers.
A ribbon, bow and some gems finish this off.

Thank you for stopping by.
I appreciate any comments you have on my creations.

Getting back to crafting

 Good morning all

Well I am, hopefully back on track after a couple of awful months. Having caught Covid in January, I have now been advised I have Long Covid, so everything is taking a bit longer. Added to that I had to reapply for my job, got made redundant, and applying for jobs. I currently have a temporary role working in the NHS, so at least there is a bit of hope on the horizon.

I have been playing with a stamp by the lovely Tracy Easson, Just a Girl and Her Imagination, called Lallianna Twinkle Toes.

This is a large card at 8x8"

The blue background was made using spray inks and my Gel plate.

I stamped Lillianna and coloured her in with my alcohol markers.

I then stamped some of the companion stamps in shades of green.

The silver frame is actually the waste off another die I cut out.

I matted my background onto silver mirri card.

Some gems in the corners finish it off.

Glitter Stories

 Good morning

Today I would like to share with you a paper bag book I made from a subscription kit from Cal Summers. I love these kits and it gives my brain a rest, and allows me to craft along and not worry that it may not turn out. I always find the when you start with 6 paper bags and some 12x12 papers you can end up with something wonderful like this. All the tags in the book were cut from one of the 12x12 pages.

I hope you like this book. Its a little different to my card making.

Firework Burst.

Good morning.

Here is another of my Art Journal pages, using a stencil called Firework Burst.

To make this page, I placed the stencil down onto my page.
I then sprinkled various pixie powders onto the stencil.
I then sprayed water over the top.

I then flipped the stencil over to take a ‘print’ from the stencil.

This is the last ‘print’ I took from cleaning the stencil.
I love the way the colours change and become more muted the more prints I do.

Orange Floral

 Good morning.

Today I would like to share this very vivid orange floral card.

This is a 7x5” scalloped card base.
The image is ‘Scented Blooms’ by Jane Gill for Woodware.
I stamped this onto white stamping card.
This was coloured using Cosmic Shimmer, shimmer shakers.
I put a little of the shimmer shaker onto my mat and added water to make a paint.
I used it quite thickly but you can water it down to make it paler.
I then die cut the image and the gold mirri base with Creative Expressions Double Pierced Rectangles.

Playing again.

Good morning.

Want to share with you some more pictures from my time playing with inks and sprays.

For this I placed the stencil onto the page,
then I sprinkled Emerald pixie powders around the outer edge of the heart.
I then used Firework burst pixie powder on the rest of the stencil.
When I then sprayed with water this is the result.

I then sprayed the stencil again and turned it upside down onto a black page.
It amazes me that the green shows up as blue on this page,
Also not many of the colours from the firework powder doesn’t show on black.
These are ready for me to use as a background for another project.

Sunflowers.

 Good morning.

Back to a card for today’s post.

This is a 7x5” scalloped card blank.
For this card all the layers were die cut with Creative Expressions Double Pierced Rectangles.
The background is white card which was coloured with
blue, pink and yellow ink using the shaving foam technique.
The image is from Lili of the Valley.
It was coloured in with Spectrum Noir Classique alcohol markers.
All ready for a sentiment, or just as is to make someone smile.
